Thanks for visiting my web portfolio site. Now it’s the time to describe the general aspect about myself. I am called “Pepe” by most of my friends and families. Sadly, in the State of Texas, I would be called “Pep”. I considered that a hilarity. I went to public school in several different places in the North East Texas vicinity. Finally, after graduating from a high school in Denton, I moved on to study at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC. Nice town and a wild one. So many good clubs, bars, and restaurant all over the diamond. I graduated with a B.A. in Communication Design. I looked back at my years of studying at the university and, to my bittersweet memories, it was the best time of my life.

My five years stint as a freelance graphic designer and production artist at a couple of weekly newspaper company have been an enjoyment. But, I wanted more. 1995 was the year I’ve logged online for the first time. O yes, long before broadband ever exist and, jeez, it was as slow as a old Volkswagen Beetle! Thanks goodness for Broadband.  The point of my wanting more is how do people develop a website. How do they make graphics and implement them online. Ah, back to school again. I’ve attended the Art Institute of California in San Francisco. In two short years, I fully understand the demands of building a website. HTML this, CSS that, PHP over in the back, FTP over there, Troubleshoot tag errors, modified CSS, and mollified the stubborn MS Internet Explorer web browsers. Heck, you actually learned to conjure up a storyboard for a website. Amazing. I’ve used most tools to design everything, from sketching on a blank pad to developing on Adobe’s software or any other software to hand-coding on any good html developing application such as Textwrangler or Dreamweaver. Of course there will be animating objects on the side with help of Flash.  All of my works are done on my using Apple’s products. Thanks, Steve, for making awesome machines.

Technologies kept changing. New ways to make website more interactive are in demands more than ever. Good news, I have that ability to kept learning new techs. Did the whole CMS games by checking into WordPress and developed themes on my own. I never stop learning till the day I’m gone. Heh!
